The following are a few of the eLinux.com catalogs which was published every 6-7 weeks to showcase our existing and new Linux-compatible products. The one with the darker cover was a wholly Compaq-sponsored publication, emphasizing Compaq's products for Linux.
Each catalog was approximately 60-70 pages. Originally it was just chock-full of products and technical specs, but the Sales Director and I worked hard to move the format towards that of a "magalog" in order to increase its shelf-life. We were somewhat successful, and later versions contained "Solution Stories" written by vendors or myself on various subjects of interest to the Linux IT professional or enthusiast. |
